TMI Question. PP Periods
Were your PP periods heavier than normal? My periods were always verryyyyyy light and brownish. I was able to get away with a "lites" tampon for 4 days and then it was gone.
However, my 2 periods since DD was born have been verrrrryyy heavy. And very red. Like it's new blood.  Sorry to gross ya out. Is this normal?

I just sent you an email with a link to that costume I told you about.
The only PP period I had between Lu and Dex was a little bit heavier than my pre-preggo days... but nothing too crazy. I guess you are a freak.

yes andrea! its AWFUL i used to be exactly like you barely there and only lasted max 4 days.. now its like a BIGHT RED and flowing like a river i need supers for like 7 days and im on the pill so they should be lightening up a little and their not so gross and annoying

Ugh! Same boat, 7MONTHS PP! Went to doctor to get on the pill, he promises things will get better. We shall see.

I was the same after DS was born. The first PP period was normal. Light-medium flow and lasted 4 days. Then I skipped a month and when I got it again in March, I thought I was going to bleed to death. I was dizzy and almost passed out a few times. And the fatigue was so bad that I had to go and stay with my Mom so I could get help with DS. The same thing happened in April. I was put on Loestrin 24 BC and everything went back to normal...Thank god. Before that, I was being tested for everything....Talk to your OB..

Yep, same exact thing here. Used to be maybe 4 days with one heavy day and now it's a full week with 2-3 heavy days.
I can't do estrogen based birth control - which means I have very few options - so not sure what I'm going to do.

I had the exact same issue. My periods were always medium to light and lasted about 4-5 days. After DD, they would sometimes last 7-9 days and be horribly heavy!  Awful! And, my DD is 18 months! 
I just went on bc pills about 2 months ago and it has completely helped.

My first 2 PP AFs were TERRIBLE. Like i was going to bleed to death
But they are slowly getting better now at 6mth PP

although, mine has been lighter than before i was pregnant but it seems I am ALWAYS the exception to the rule

My first one was beyond horrible. Horrible isn't even the word. The second wasn't bad. I've only had 2 since dd. I was on the depo shot for 1 round and didn't get my 1st period pp until May.

mine were heavy - like INSANE heavy...(look up my posts from then, i was worried about the amount of blood, there were clots, it was HORRENDOUS)....i was so worried, i even asked my doc...
now, more than a year later, i'm almost back to my normal, wearing light days almost all the time ways...but the first 8 months or so were HORRIBLE!!!!

I've only had one period pp which just passed and it was VERY heavy, at least the 1st 3 days, then it got light for the 4th & 5th day. Yes it lasted 5 days

Seriously and after I posted on Friday about DS not STTN..he did all weekend!!!!
As for my pp....i bled for 4 days after having DS...got my first period 17 weeks pp and it was normal like before I was PG. But I was expecting it to be HORRIBLE!

My first period after Lara was born I called my sister and told her I may have to go to the emergency room THATS HOW HEAVY MY FLOW WAS!!! Its terrible even now 8 mos later

no joke, i got it THAT AFTERNOON!
i got it friday and its basically gone though  and my pre-preggo periods were like 6-7 days and heavy! i dont understand my body - ever!
