TMI question.....bad night last night...
so im about 7.5 weeks now, had my first visit already & saw the heartbeat. last night woke up from the dead of sleep with terrible stomach pains (like severe gas pains), then had vomiting and diarrhea and felt better---i think maybe i ate something that didn't agree (had pizza & salad from a pizzaria last night). I was able to eat bland food this morning. I guess my thought was if it happens again I will call the Dr, do you guys agree? is it common to have these kind of things during pregnancy. TIA

It does sound like it's GI issues not pregnancy, none the less I'd call doctor. Make sure you are getting lots of fluids, it's very important to stay hydrated.
Feel better!

That happended to me at about 8 weeks, and it was a really bad gas pain. I went to the hospital and there was nothing they could do, it dulled after a couple of days.

I would ask the dr. next time you go just to be safe of course, but I have had really bad gastro problems since I got pregnant. I always had stomach problems to some degree, but when you are pregnant your digestion slows down so it can screw stuff up even more. I never had vomitting, but I did almost go to the ER because my stomach pains were so intense. Dr. said it was all gastro stuff because the pains werent even by where the baby was, which eased my mind.
