To glide or not to glide....that is the question *UPDATED WITH PIC*

DH and I have been tossing around the idea of getting a glider. We both really want it...I REALLY REALLY want it. I want to be able to sit with Chat Icon to feed him, rock him, read to him, talk to him, watch him sleep in my arms, etc. But, our nursery is small. And, there isn't much room. I mean, we could get one in there, but it would be tight. Should we get one?

ETA: Ok, I caved. I ordered the glider. It will be here in 3-5 days. If it doesn't fit, then I will return it.

ETA: Here is a pic of the one we got:

i'm in the same boat, I did really want one (they are so comfy!) , but the nursery is small, plus I figured I didn't want to get into the habit of rocking DC too much

My DD bedroom is pretty small- we have a glider and ottoman, a crib, dresser AND a twin bed. There is no room for toys but oh, well.

During my 1st preg, I really didn't have any interest in a glider. Then in the last month or two I had a change of heart, and DH and I bought ourselves one.

Best thing I ever did.

I used it EVERY SINGLE DAY. During the day, at night, you name it. I can't wait to use it again with the new baby.

I wasn't sure whether I wanted one. Then, we tried out a bunch at BRU and I knew I wanted one. They were so comfortable.

You don't have to have it in the baby's room, you could keep it in your room or the living room.

I got one for this baby and I LOVE IT!

This is what I told DH also. We got a neutral one so that we can have it in the living room if we want. I think I'll be spending more time in the living room in it holding Chat Icon than in his room.

My glider is in the living room and has been since DD#1 was born 7 years ago. I could not live with out it. It is the most comfy chair in the house. When my family comes over, we fight over who sits in the chair.
