today I met my kindergarteners! (tomorrow our first day!!!)
they all seem precious - of course we had the range of emotions - from the clingers to the "leave me alone Mom/dad"s.... so all in all my first orientation went great!!!  my principal even came in and congratulated me!
I am so excited about tomorrow now...they seem like a great group! now lets just hope for not too many criers...but it will also be hard, we have two days this week, three next and its not until three weeks that we actually do 5 straight days.....
corny, huh, that I am so giddy though, no?

Sounds great! I always thought it would be so nice to teach kindergarten - I mean, think of the huge impact you'll have on their whole lives. Teaching them how to read, to add, to play well with others, etc... you're really molding them for the future. It must be so rewarding.

Even though I love my current grade, I did always enjoy Kindergarten. They are just so cute and sweet! Good luck!
