Today is my 1st day back at work
*SIGH*
I even pushed my maternity leave for two more wks and that still wasnt enough. I got into the "no work" mode and of course, LOVED being with my daugter.
Im just happy I have my mom taking care of her while at work.
I just miss her already!

Girl...it does get better!! Especially knowing that your mom is watching her and she is in good hands!
That is what gets me through the day, knowing that my mom is watching DS

Hang in there. It does get easier, and I actually like the time I get at work to interact with other adults and to be myself and not just "mommy". As happy as I am to have the summer off, I do know I'll look forward to going back in September

Those first few days are so tough, but it gets easier nd them it is kind of empowering being at work and thinking "wow, I'm a Mom too!!" Hang in there, she is in the best hands possible other than you and your hubby

I know it's hard, but it does get easier (although I still have my moments of course).
Just remind yourself it's the quality over quantity of time you spend with her, and make sure when you come home at night you set aside time to play with her.

Same here... it was a rough transition for the first few months. The first few days were easiest because your adrenaline is pumping and the newness is exciting, but once all that wears off, and you're still sleep deprived from baby, it gets tough. Really tough. But, hang in there, because the payoff is amazing once you get a routine going and the quality time you spend with baby is just amazing.

For me itdid not get easier but I hope it does for you like it has for many. But what helps is that family watches him. I think that is the only thing that keeps me sane while at work.
