Glad everything turned out great despite your mom not being there.
Not trying to highjack but we just had a cake made from the same bakery last weekend...definitely recommend them!!

These cakes are stunning!!! Thanks for posting the info, I just had to reminisce.
MB cakes have come a LONG way! Micheline made my groom's cake for DH in October '01 in her kitchen!  So, so reasonably priced and she delivered it to the restaurant where we had our rehearsal dinner.
She is so incredibly talented and was a pleasure to work with. I'm so glad to see she has her own shop now. I'm going to have to stop in.

Im so sorry your mom didnt make it. My mom was still in the hospital. and didnt make mine as well, and I cried so much.
That cake is BEAUTIFUL

jess the cake is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!! im so glad your shower was great im sorry that your mom couldnt be there! im sure she was there in spirit!
