today is the first time this pregnancy...
that i just feel so totally ugly..and fat...and frumpy, and mommy-ish, and not sexy and totally deformed in the face..
and if another person tells me "they can tell" im having a girl, im gonna spit on them..seriously..
and to top it off, this all comes as im sitting at the hair salon, getting a major hair cut (im usually totally brave with my hair and always trying new things) and color..
im sittin there lookin in the mirror wanting to cry :(
ugh and my shower is sunday
ok vent over, sorry

Ugh I totally hear you!!! The past few days I've barely gotten out of bed...This me being home is making me into a blob that doesn't even want to get dressed bc I hate how I look in everything, and to add to that I have a black tie wedding on Sunday!!!!

First of all - that whole 'When you have a girl you look like crap' thing is a bunch of crap ..........
Personally, the only time I've ever seen a pregnant wonam look 'bad' or 'not like herself' is if she's not feeling well (as ANYONE not feeling well looks 'off') or, if she just totally goes to hell w/ herself deliberately w/ the "I'm pregnant, I don't care" attitude.
One of my DH's friends wives showed up to 3 weddings - maybe 4, 5 and 7 months PG in that order, literally looking like she just rolled herself off of the couch - No makeup, hair not combed, inappropriately dressed - She looked like absolute sh*t. - And she said she FELT fine, so that wasn't an issue.......
SHE totally fit the 'oh you're having a girl' role 
You, sitting in the chair at the salon geting cut and colored and styled will look fabulous when you walk out of there ....you're just having a bad day, we all do.....
I buy new makeup when I feel gross ........

I have felt like that many times during my pregnancy. I usually go out and buy myself a new maternity outfit, or go get my hair done. I'm sure you look beautiful!!! It is mostly in our heads.

thanks ladies, i think its that i have a cold too, and my face feels swollen, like my eyes, and my nose is red, and i went to the salon with barely any make up cause my eyes are itchy and runny..literally everyone i see has commented on how much pregnancy agrees with me, and how radiant ive looked pregnant, so its been an ego trip this whole time for me..but today, sitting there for 5 hours, with no make up, sneezing and swollen, was DEFINATELY not good for the mind...
then i get home and my 10 year old says he hates when i have shorter hair...thanks Nicky...
i got this funky cute uneven long version of the posh haircut..my hair got so long from prenatal i looked like a drowned rat..
eh, i just dont feel myself, and i hope i can shake it by the weekend..id hate to feel self conscious the day of my shower..
