Today would've been my due date
and the pain in my heart today is unbearable.  On Sunday I sat at my ILs thinking that our baby probably would've come early, and that would've been their first holiday. 
For the short time that we thought that I was finally pregnant and things were ok, ---- well, they were the happiest days I've had in a long time.
Next month will be 5 years of trying, and yet I don't feel any closer to reaching our goal. If anything, I feel further from it than ever. Now it's not just getting, but also staying pregnant. The fear that comes with that is torture.
I almost feel dumb even posting this, as we knew so early that this pregnancy wasn't viable... but yet to me they were very real, and a loss still the same. :cries
Little one, in the short time that we knew of you, you were loved more than you'll ever know- and not a day goes by that you're not thought of.

It doesn't matter how early in your pregnancy you were...it is still a devestating loss.

Shannon - I'm so sorry. Don't feel dumb for posting this! A loss is a loss not matter how far along you were. Mourning that loss on key dates is normal. I mourned on my due date as well as last week which was 1 year since I had my m/c. It's normal and understandable.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is heartbreaking and you have a right to grieve even if you only knew for a moment you were pregnant because the second you know, there is a bond that only a mother can understand. I hope and pray that it will happen again for you and all of us on this board.

I agree that once you lose a pregnancy after getting a positive, you have every right to be devastated, regardless of how early it is.

Shannon, I am so sorry. It is such a hard day to get through. For 5 years now you have been through such a long and trying journey and the what if's are a plenty right now.
