Deb, I prayed for you tonight when I went to bed. Unfortunately, I can't sleep, so now I am here 
I took my mom for radiation for many weeks. Her side effects were mainly that she was very tired and thirsty. She also visited the dentist for floride treatments she could do at home, since they were concerned that the radiation might negatively affect her teeth.

deb all i can say is i think about you often and you and your family continue to be in my prayers. the road in front of you looks like a hard one but hang in there for baby joeys sake and of course for yourself and DH. you have a huge support system and i'm sure i speak for everyone when i say if there is anything we can do... don't ever hesitate to ask!

Deb, You are a very strong person. This too shall pass. It sounds like you have your hands full for a while, but atleast you have a timeline, and you know what you have ahead of you.
Just remember that you have all of us here and your family and friends praying for you and and a speedy recovery.
It will be a long road, but you have a beautiful baby boy and your wonderful husband to light up your day, every day. They should be your inspiration.
Although I have never met you, and I've only been on this site for a few months, I think of you every day. I will continue to pray for you, and if you need anything, just ask.
