Today's First World Problems
Sooooo, my favorite CVS took out their self checkout machines and I had to wait on line to buy my last minute vacation stuff. I was bummed...#FWP 
Anyone have any today?

Today's First World Problems
I posted about this yesterday, but we are going on vacation today, just for 3 nights. DH is leaving work early (his office closes at 12), and I was planning on leaving around 1 for a 1/2 day. Until we received a fax yesterday at about 5 that my receptionist was starting her leave 2 weeks early (at 32 weeks preggo) effective immediately... so now I can't leave early, and I'm lucky to be leaving at all. My other receptionist, amazing woman that she is, rearranged her schedule so she could come in the afternoon. She knows it's me, DH and our 8 month old driving up to Saratoga and she was kind enough to do this so I don't have to wait until 7/7:30 to leave work, to get home by 8ish and then hit the road by 9ish.

The new kid who works with me told me to contact a different manager because my manager didn't respond to my e-mail or text to take care of something my today.
Really, like I haven't been here for 20 years and sort of know what to do....
Kid is lucky I didn't choke the living $hit out of him.
I did however, bite his head off with my LIF worthy snarky answer.

We NEVER get out early before a holiday.
Only good thing, traffic is lighter because everyone else is home already.

DD gymnasctic starts today ... she was off for two weeks and they decided today the new session would start right before the holiday 
I probably could have left work early but with logistics it makes no sense because of gymnastics!

target didn't have Egg Noodles to go with dinner that I'm making tonight so I will have to use the Speghitti I have at the house because I am too lazy to go the supermarket for just that one item.

I got a raise today and I'm happy with it and I really do love my job but I would also like to know if we are getting out early today and they aren't saying anything!

My router can't handle our devices anymore, and Netflix crashes. CVS hasn't restocked my cleanser in 2 days. I ran out of organic strawberries... So it's a FWP boo-hoo fest around here

Today's First World Problems
I signed up to run a 5K on Saturday, so now I can't get a pedicure because I don't want the bottom of my feet smooth. But it bothers me that my feet feel rough.
