Today's NON TTC TOPIC - 10/28
I JUST HAD TO DO IT!
IT'S SNOWING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (i'm in Edison, NJ)
MAYBE YOU GIRLS REMEMBER MY POST ABOUT HOW MUCH I LOVE SNOW!!!!!

Love the first snow fall - so magical - after that on day 3 or 4 I have enough of it. Where is it snowing?

love it when it's a weekend and i'm able to snuggle with dh by the fire.
hate it on a weekday when i have to commute back and forth to work.

I knew it was going to be a cold winter. You can tell bc all the squirrels are chubby and thier tails are big and puffy. That's so it can keep them warm in the winter It's true!!
I LOVE SNOW!!
My favorite was the storm of 1976! I'll never forget it! My brother wasn't allowed out bc the snow was higher than he was! Yeah, ask your parents! It was awesome! There were no computers, cell phones, video games, vcrs, microwaves...nothing. (they weren't invented yet)
The electricity was out and everything shut down for days. No school, no work....nothing!
We used flashlights, lit the fireplace, and played board games. We used our imaginations. We ate cereal for dinner.
The whole block got together and dug each other out. There were about 20 adults digging out house by house. And us, well we were screaming, running, climbing on huge (supermarket parking lot just shoveled huge) mounds that came from the street and the clean up.
Jess..it was the ABSOLUTE BEST!!
My only thing with all inclement weather now is that I think of all the stray, homeless animals. Cold and hungry. It makes me a little sad.

I LOVE snow...well let me rephrase. I love snow when i don't have to drive in it and can sit inside and enjoy it! I love snow when i can ski and I love snow at late at night and first thing in the morning when it's freshly fallen and no cars have disturbed it...and you can walk down the street and have it get caught in your hair So nice! But having to go out in the dangerous snow is no fun

OH MY GOD really?!??!??!?! I remember snow storms like that when I was a kid. I was just thinking back to being in a halloween costume in FULL winter gear. I think i remember it happening only a few times...
In 1976 - i was 1 and we lived in Brooklyn...we didn't move to Long Island until i was 5....i WISH i could remember a storm like that!
The fun thing about where we live too is that when there is a snowfall - we can see all the tracks of the animals....the deer, racoon, skunk, foxes...etc.

Love it! I was hoping it would snow a little on our wedding day. After the ceremony we had people blow bubbles. I got so excited because I thought it started snowing, then someone pointed out it was the bubbles freezing and coming down in flakes!
I have to say it seems a little early for snow though. I don't even have my Uggs out yet!

It's 65 and sunny in Portland, OR today 
We so rarely get snow that I don't know that I have a real opinion on it. Last Christmas it snowed on Christmas morning (just flurries) but it was gorgeous!
