Today's NON TTC Topic - 10/7
I guess this is KINDA ttc related - but not really....depends on how ya look at it...
Were you named after any specific thing/person/something else?
Me? I'm Jessica because of the Allman Brothers' Song - Jessica....yeah, the one with no lyrics....that's me. Thanks Dad!

My whole family was agreed on Tracey for my name, but when writing out the birth certificate, my mom decided that she liked the name my aunt was going to use for HER first daughter, and now I am Jennifer. My aunt was not happy..lol

Not really. My mom used to work in a dog food store and there was a vendor that came in all the time and she would chat with him.
He told her his wife was pregnant and she asked what they were going to name the baby and he said "KeriAnn."
She loved it and so, it became my name.

My dad was in the hospital for something a few months before I was born and there was a nice nurse there named Jennifer. He liked the name and the personality of the nurse so they decided on that for me.
little did they know, it would be the MOST POPULAR name of the late 70s!

i was supposed to be named Sarah but my grandmother didn't care for the name. my mom was watching tv and saw a commercial for a perfume made by Dana. so i was named after a perfume company. my middle name comes from my maternal grandmother who passed before i was born.

I was going to be named after one of my aunts (I never met). When it came time for the birth certificate, my parents came up with Dawn. I don't know how or why. LOL.
I'll take that over the original name though.

My mom always liked the name Diana when she was growing up, so she always knew she'd name her first daughter Diana.
It ended up bein the year Princess Diana and Prince Charles were married..so it was a pretty popular name that year.  And everyone thought that was why my mom picked it...but she didn't. she said if she would have realized it, she would have picked something different.
