What are your thoughts on tattoos?

Do you have any tattoos & if yes, where are they? Do you want more?

I love them personally. I have 2 of them, both Japanese symbols. One means creative/imaginative and one means loyalty. The parlour i went to had you pick them out of a DICTIONARY - so i'm positive that's what they mean...

My tats are both in a place that is 99% of the time, hidden.. They are above my boobs (but won't sag when they do - because they're closer to my neck than my boobs)...kinda where your bra strap rests...

Yes - i want one more. I had a VERY vivid dream the other day about getting one on my foot and now i want that one BADLY!!!

i dont have any, and never will.. i just cant have anything permanetly on me.. BUT not saying there is anythign wrong with them... my DH has 2.. on each arm.. one is a Eagle, and one says.. USMC.. (marine)

I have one- I barely remember it's there (it's a "tramp stamp" lol- on the left side of my lower back)

It's something I settled for- I like it, but it's not what I originally wanted.

I would like to get one on my foot someday.

I keep saying, "If I'm not pregnant this cycle, I'll get another one" - but then I forget!

I am Jewish and it is against the Jewish religion to have a tatoo. If you die, and have a tatoo, you cannot be buried in a Jewish Cemetary.

With that said, I have Jewish friends who have tatoos.

Despite religion, I do not like tatoos and will never have one.

Nothing against people who have them....just not for me.

question - have you had to 'update' the color? I always thought color faded and you have to 'upkeep it'...

Mine is a cross with wings and rosary beads. It represents me, my mom and my grandma.

It's on my lower left back. I love it. A friend designed it for me.

I think the only other(s) I would get would be my kids names somewhere....not sure I would even do that though.

i have one... my friend went to the place to get hers recolored and me and 2 other friends went with here by the time we left we all had tatoos lol i have a small heart very low so only DH can see sometimes i forget its even there

I have 5: A tiny "om" behind my right ear, the Kanji for "happiness" on the back of my neck, 2 Kanji on my left foot ("to hope" & "to Love") and an ankle bracelet (right) that I hate & want to have removed- it reminds me of my ex-husband.

As of right now I have 13.

Inside left ankle
outside right ankle
both hip bones
right ribs
left thigh from about my hip bone down to a little past the middle of my thigh
right side hip
and 6 on my back that I'm working on making a backpiece that will end up in 1/4 sleeves

and when I'm done having kids I'm getting a tattoo on my left rib cage because it's closest to my heart.


ETA: I personally don't think I'll ever be done getting tattooed

I don't have any and I will never get one. I don't like the idea of having something permanent on my body like that. I don't object to them, they are just not for me.

I don't have any, too chicken to get one. Plus I change my mind about things all the time I don't think I would ever be able to make up my mind on what to get.

I have a bunch of flowers on the back of my neck (in the same spot as Jenny), so I can cover it up when I'm at work. I've had it for a while now & I'm ready for another, but I don't know what I want. I want it to be something meaningful this time around...

I love tattoos!

I only have 2 (one on each ankle/side of leg) a celtic knot shamrock and shooting stars.

I would like to get more but I'm going to wait until DH and I are done having kids. I'm going to get the Celtic tree of life and have the kids' names on it.
