Today's NON TTC Topic - 9/25

What is your favorite season & why??

For me - it's winter.. I think there are few things in life more beautiful than snow & the silence after the first snowfall is amazing to me. EVERY single time it snows & we are home - Dave & I go for a short walk and just enjoy it... The first snowfall of the season always brings tears to my eyes...

Yes - i know, driving in it can stink, but it doesn't change that it's beautiful. Where i live - we have woods behind us and to look out from our back door deck to our backyard and see all the different paw prints in the snow is also something we LOVE doing..

Love Fall.... it's such a beautiful season b/c of the colors. Plus, lots of holidays... well, for me I have the Jewish holidays then it's Halloween and how can you not love dressing up and getting candy... then Turkey Day. It's the best time of year for food too. Yum!

Fall hands down, I love the weather, the changing leaves, pumpkin picking, apple cider and not to mention my mom, DD and my birthday are all in October

Mine is definitely the fall (despite it's being the WORST asthma & allergy season for me). I think that the changing trees are beautiful, I love the cool (but not cold) air, the start of the holidays...

I love summer!

I like relaxing at the beach with a good book, being tan (or trying at least!), lounging by the pool, BBQs with family/friends, fresh lemonade, and being off from work!

Everything always seems okay in the summer for some reason.

I LOATHE being cold - so I'm really not a big fan of late fall or winter. It's nice for a few days, but then I'm sick of it!

I love everything about winter- except the cold. I am cold in 90 degrees weather, let alone 20 degrees.

But, I love when there is fresh snow all over everything, and watching my dog play in it. I love building snowmen with DH, and going in to drink hot cocoa. I love watching DH put the lights up on his mom's house for her- because every year, without fail, one strand goes out, and when he gets that working, another one goes out. It's quite comical!
I also love that it's cold- in a way, because I have an excuse to just lay around and relax. When it's a gorgeous, sunny day, I always feel guilty about doing that.

Fall is a close second- but I love spring. I love the contrast, after the long, dark nights, when the air starts to feel warm again, and the crocuses start to break through the ground, the trees begin to sprout leaves. It gives me the best feeling!

I love the fall, when you can go out with just a sweater, and the trees begin to change colors. You can enjoy a nice glass of tea.

Wow, that's hard, I truly love them all but I guess Spring, it brings new life, plants, animals. I am always amazed by a single seed growing into a plant and I love to watch the transformations!

I love the fall! We got married in October for that exact reason! I love when the leaves change color and the cool crisp air!

SUMMER!!!!!! Can you guess why?

Well yeah...baseball season...but NO SCHOOL!!

Also, I hate the cold. I love the heat...and I love summer clothes. Summer all the way!! I love bbq's too!

Fall hands down! I'm originally from the Catskills region so I grew up in love with all the colors fall has to offer. I love the crisp air, the crunching sound of the leaves as I go on a hike. The smells of pumpkin & apples.... It's all pure heaven to me.

Fall! The crisp air, the leaves changing, harvest, putting a sweater on for the first time, perfect sleeping weather....ahhhhhhh.
Summer is a HUGE second. I am such a water person, so the beach, ocean is very important to me!

Another vote for fall! I've always loved the colors and the activities- apple picking, carving pumpkins, donuts, Halloween, etc.. Now I have two very important dates in the fall- my anniversary and DS's bday.
