Today's Pet Peeve...
When you order chinese food and they say on the menu "Chicken with broccoli, snow peas and carrots" and 3946239 different vegetables show up in your meal. I hate water chestnuts

Today's pet peeve... my headache. I went to bed last night a 8pm (like I was 5 years old again) with this headache and woke up with it

I hate when the toilet seat is left up.
Is it that hard to close the lids, then flush, so those icky germs don't spray up into the bathroom.
This has been my biggest pet peeve for a long time. I know public bathrooms, there is no cover. I flush and run to the sink. LOL

My co-worker smokes and instead of going outside to do it , she smokes in the bathroom. Our office is above a restaurant. There are 4 offices here and one bathroom. I always manage to go in there when she has just been in there and I choke and come out reeking of smoke. I am also allergic and I cough and sneeze all day.

Are we twins? I do this exact same thing! I say "chicken in brown sauce with baby corn, snow peas, carrots and broccoli" and they can never get it

I hate water chestnuts, too.
For convenience on nights that we both work late, I keep a big bag of frozen stir-fry vegetables in the freezer. (Easy to make a quick stir fry) I pick the water chestnuts out before I even start cooking.
(They just don't make a nice mix without them!)
