Toddler Boys and Clothes?
Just curious, does your son show any interest in his clothes? Mine is 22 months, and I don't think he cares what i put on him. But I know people with girls this age who say their daughters are interested in picking out their clothes already (and have been doing this for awhile).
He seems to like his Thomas jacket, but that's about it.

Um, sort of? Like he gets happy if there is a truck or car on his shirt, but I odn't really let him in his closet to see what I've got in there

Re: Toddler Boys and Clothes?
For DS, never! I could dress him looking like Urkel and he wouldn't have a care in the world.
For DD, it's a HUGE issue. She is 3 and makes it clear what she will wear and what she won't Everything to her is either "pretty like a princess" which she will wear, or "ugly and not pretty" and she will refuse to get dressed. Getting her dressed for school is hard!

No, I think he is pretty oblivious.
However, since the summer, when he is in the car seat, he pulls his pant legs up. I am afraid he is going to be one of those guys who wear shorts in January when he grows up.

Some nights he insists on certain pajamas and sometimes he'll pick out shoes he wants to wear (like Crocs on what always seems to be a freezing cold day ) and he'll throw a fit if he can't wear them.

DS does this too! Only one leg though, he reminds me of bike messengers who do that to avoid getting grease on their pants.

Re: Toddler Boys and Clothes?
For some reason, I pick out 2 outfits and ask DS which one he wants to wear on some days. If Elmo is one of the choices, its a no-brainer. Other then that, I'm not sure why he picks what he does.
He's 21 months. If you ask him what color something is he says, BLUE. Even if you ask him what color the YELLOW BUS is... so

At 22 months, no. He started showing an interest at around 2.5.
