Re: toddler lunches on the go?

i always pack peanut butter sandwiches ( my kids hate jelly!) or cheese sandwiches cut into 4's,
some grapes and goldfish-
they are easy on-the-go-not-too-messy foods!

I just wing it. Usually we are out at the mall or someone's house so I don't really worry about it till I get there.

Worse case scenario I stop for pizza or cold cuts somewhere along the way.

We're rarely out during lunch, but if we are, we eat at a restaurant. I've never packed a lunch.

I will usually cut up an apple...
take a wasa cracker, smear hummas, make a sandwich out of it, then wrap. I pull it apart, very little mess.

He loves rice and beans...

yogurt.

I pack lunches for our little hikes.

I usually make a grill cheese and just wrap it in tin foil, or chicken nuggets and put them in a small plastic container.

If we are going to a restaurant, I don't bring much, maybe a few cereal bars, some goldfish or the EB crackers or something like that and sippies.

For daycare, he gets turkey and cheese, quesadillas, grilled cheese, pasta with sauce, veggie burgers. Usually I make double what he has for dinner and send it in for lunch.
