There is a recent incident where she saw DH's chest hair, reached up to pet it and said "aw beaver, so cute" We have NO idea where that came from, but both DH & I were nearly peeing our pants, it was freakin' hysterical. Not a cat, not a dog, but a beaver?
These are all so funny!
DS doesn't say sentences yet, but he did have an arguement with me... we are petsitting my niece's guinea pig. Landon points to it and says "Cat." I say "No, thats a Guinea Pig" Landon points again and yells "CAT" I say "Guinea Pig" Landon points again and screams "CAT" DH was laughing so hard!
OMG I am PIMP at both of these things
Seriously, my DH is a pretty straight-laced guy that is good at stifling laughs, but we were both near tears...she was petting it like an animal...and the beaver???? I don't have a CLUE where she got that from, but it was before we went to work and it made our days
Guess she really needs a real pet
And apparently she wants a beaver

Re: Toddler Mamas: What is the funniest thing DC says?
This isn't really funny - but once my aunt was shopping in Target with my cousin (i think he was about 4) and a midget walked down the aisle and as looking at items right next to them. My aunt saw my cousin staring and was thinking "please don't say something" just then my cousin said to the midget "Are you a kid? You look old but you are small" My aunt said she said SORRY and ran out of the store, she was so embarrassed!

Re: Toddler Mamas: What is the funniest thing DC says?
The other day Ale said "Agua" clear as day. So I was at Gerty;s trying to make her say it "Ale, say agua.....agua....agua?...Ale, quieres....agua?"
So she looks at me, puts her hand on the arm of the couch and says.....
"couch".
I had to laugh!!!

Re: Toddler Mamas: What is the funniest thing DC says?
Lately he has had a lot of hiccups and he goes "Mama I have pick-ups". Lol...
And he heard his father loudly say "f'ing b****" when this lady cut us off on the road (nearly killing us last week). Johnny repeated that lovely phrase for a day. We just ignored it and he didn't say it again until yesterday while I was shopping in party city....I'm sure the people who overheard him yell it think i'm total white trash

When says his last name he can't manage the transition from his first to his last so he says some jumbled thing and ends with the last part of the name....

Re: Toddler Mamas: What is the funniest thing DC says?
Um, slightly
but Gianna does this as a joke we do to her. If shes not behaving my mom jokes and says, "we are gonna spank that culli"
so at nite I will start to get dressed for bed and she will run up to me, spank my butt and say LOUDLY.
I SPANKED YOUR CULLI!!

Re: Toddler Mamas: What is the funniest thing DC says?
DS's new obsession is hockey. So we bought him a hockey stick and puck. We put it away and he was looking ofr it and asks me "hey ma, you know where my hockey diick is? I can't find my hockey diick"
I also find it funny how he says his name. My son has a slight italian accent (thanks to my parents).

DS has soooo many but we think when he says "allowed touch TD" (TV) it is hysterical!
Calling our dog "guy" is also a favorite!

Re: Toddler Mamas: What is the funniest thing DC says?
My DD was home with a fever and a cold this week. When she wanted to go to "school" I told her she had to stay home with me because she was sick. She got very indignant, and kept saying "Mommy, I two, I not six!"
I had to use other words because even on the phone, if I said "DD is sick" she would yell and stamp her feet "No, I two!!!"

His latest include:
"Mommy! Come baaaaaack here!" or "Daddy! Come oooooonnnn!"
"I'm cranky!"
and most other things that fascinate him can be described plainly as "Cooool!"

Re: Toddler Mamas: What is the funniest thing DC says?
Probably one of those things where "its funnier when you see it", but when we stop for my coffee on the way to drop her off at day care, when she is leaving, she tells everyone to "have a good day"...i could come up with a million things b/c she keeps me laughing constantly...she is very verbal

Re: Toddler Mamas: What is the funniest thing DC says?
DD says some funny things but my 2 year old nephew had me on tears the other day.
He speaks very well, but some words are just harder for himn then others. Here is how our converstaion went the other day:
ME: Owen do you see the airplane?
Owen: Yes, I see the airplane.
Me: Owen, what about a helicopter, do you see that?
Owen: No heli-caca. We have to listen for the heli-caca.
Me after about a minute of "listening" and never seing one helipcopter
Do you see a helicopter now owen?
Owen: no, heli-caca sarah.
I think we went back and forth longer but it was soo funny how mad he got at me.
the mean Aunt Sarah who makes him say heli-caca over and over.

Re: Toddler Mamas: What is the funniest thing DC says?
Instead of saying fire-truck, Jayden says fire-f*ck.....The other night he was playing on the floor and was like "Mommy, look at my fire-f*ck!"
DH doesn't find this funny, but I think it's hilarious. Nate made up a little song called "Boom Boom, you got boobies." With each boom, boom he punches out his arms like he's hitting a punching bag.
