Toddler Meals: Need more Ideas please....
DS is turning 1 and I need some more suggestions of what I can give him (Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and Dinner).
Can you list some things you make/give for your DC. Many thanks
*forgot to add: I need help with portion size---I never know what enough or too little.

Re: Toddler Meals: Suggestions please....
I can't really help you with portion size, as I would just give Ava enough until she wasn't hungry anymore. As for the foods, here's some things Ava always ate from a year old and on:
baked chicken fingers made from chicken breasts baked sweet potato fries with some cinnamon sprinkled on them Turkey and cheese rollups Macaroni and cheese with peas and carrots in it. Turkey meatballs pasta oatmeal with cinnamon and nutmeg omlettes with potatoes and onions sauteed in it french toast with carmelized bananas on it yogurt shakes hummus and pitas rice and beans turkey chili chicken quesadillas

I don't really have any suggestions to add to what was listed above. DD basically eats what is listed above and what I eat. She likes spicy food too.
I use this as a guide as to about how much she should be eating. She has usually eaten about what they recommend or at times a little more.

Re: Toddler Meals: Need more Ideas please....
DS has always been a good eater (large portions) so I am not sure if this is in line with other kids his age (DS is 16 months)
Breakfast: -1 scrambled egg, 1 sausage link, 1/4-1/2 a banana. Sometimes he will pick on toast if I am having it as well -1 slice of French toast, with yogurt - 3 mini pancakes with yogurt
Lunch: - ½ a veggie burger (no bread), small serving of pasta or veggies - ¾ grilled cheese sandwich, small serving of green beans - small bowl of soup: Tortillini soup, lipon noodle soup, etc - 3 chicken nuggets with fries or pasta (pasta is usually a left over from prev nights dinner) or stuffing
Dinner: He eats whatever we are eating such as Steak, pork chops, chicken breast, etc with a veggie and a starch. I generally take a divided plate and lightly fill up the various areas, if he doesn’t seem interested in the meat as much that night I will give more of the other items.
I also keep in the Gerber microwave meals, ravolis, chicken stew etc. For nights DH and I eat really late, or if he cant have what we are eating.
Snacks: Fruit cup Fresh fruit Graham crackers Ritz Crackers Gold fish Pretzel Rods Mini Ice Pop (they make small, slow melt ones that DS loves) Gerber Cereal Bars
