toddler moms, what kind of boots are you getting DC for the winter?

I need opinions from btdt moms.

He'll be 2 at the start of winter so I'm sure he'll be playing in the snow this year but do I get high boots or ankle type boots? Is one more comfortable than the other?

I got high, and tucked in the snow pants. Otherwise all the snow gets in there if you get low and put the pants over.

At 2 DD still didn't like the snow. I forget what kind I had for her at that age, but last year at 3 I had Land's End boots and I really liked them bc it was easy to get her feet in. I may get the same ones again this year. They come in toddler sizes 5-8 and are on sale right now.

my DS also wore the landsends snow boots. Thye were a bit bulky, but he had no problem playing in the snow in them. I will prob by them again this year too
