toddler programs in Floral Park/New Hyde Park?
Right now our house in Suffolk is on the market and we are searching exclusively in Bellerose Village/Floral Park. We hope to be in a new house by the summer, and I have started to think about school for September. I will be a SAHM come March when the twins arrive, so I was thinking of putting my older DS, who will be 4 at that point, in the Pre-K program though the public schools. I also am looking for a toddler program for my younger DS, who will be exactly 2.5 come September. Any suggestions? I am only looking for 2 mornings or afternoons a week. Because I will have the twins I would like to stay as local as possible, but am willing to also go to New Hyde Park or Garden City for a great program. TIA!

We are located in an area nearby and right now i am planning on enrolling my son for 2015 in either the JCC in Roslyn or Greenvale in Old Brookville. There is also a Kidville in Garden City and Waldorf school in Garden City (my son and i attend the parent child classes here). There is also a Harbor Day Care center that is near you (have heard good things about this one). Also, check out the parent coop Garden City nursery school and there is a catholic nursery that is highly regarded in GC (cant remember the name).

I would just suggest if you do all these schools, make sure you have help. It will be really hard to get out of house to bring them to schol

If I find a good school that offers both a 2's & a pre-k program I would do the easier thing and keep them in the same school. It just seems that choices in the area are so limited! Thanks everyone for the suggestions, I may look into sending them both to My First School but I am not sure how academic their Pre-K program is.

Re: toddler programs in Floral Park/New Hyde Park?
I have a son in the prek and a son in the 2s program now at Gloria Dei on Nhp,rd right off Jericho Tpk in Nhp. We love it there. It is slightly religious, but more Christian based than specifically lutheran at that age, like they learn about creation, Noah's ark, etc.
I grew up in Nhp, fm if you have any questions.
Did you see the new saf t swim on Jericho?
