Toddler Sleepsack sizing question

Anyone use the Toddler-size ones (once the kids outgrow the XL regular ones).

How does the sizing run on these?

Jack is still in XL. Haven't ventured over to toddler sizes just yet. I would think C has alot more time in the regular ones! Chat Icon

He's still in the XL ones?? Chat Icon I'm so surprised by that!

Well, I need to order fleece ones for late-fall/Winter. C's room is the coldest room in the house in the winter, so she wears fleece footed PJs and a fleece Sleepsack. She wears the cotton ones over cotton PJs in the summer. And honestly, those are starting to feel a little tight, length-wise lately. I cannot believe it's not like that for Jack Chat Icon I'd say maybe I shrunk them by accident but I don't even know how to shrink clothes Chat Icon

So since I have to order fleece ones I thought I'd move up to the footed ones. I really don't think she'd fit comfortably in the XL ones much longer, I feel like she's not able to fully stretch in the one she wears now.

Re: Toddler Sleepsack sizing question

I just ordered 2 fleece XL ones from the link posted, can't beat the price. So maybe they will work for us through winter.

Have you tried the fleece footy PJs? Are those not warm enough? I haven't seen toddler sleepsacks...

Yeah, she wears the Carters fleece footy PJs, but since she won't keep a blanket on and her room is cool, she wears a fleece sleepsack, and she's always the perfect temp. They do make toddler ones in 2T-5T sizes, they have leg openings.

Off-topic, but I need to return that dog costume to you Chat Icon

Re: Toddler Sleepsack sizing question

EJ was in XL last Winter. It was a bit long. He may still fit in it.

We got the one with the opening for the feet. That way he does not trip in his crib when he stands up.

Re: Toddler Sleepsack sizing question

Thomas wears the 2T/3T toddler sleepsacks with the foot holes. They fit well... a little long, but since his feet are mostly not out the foot holes, it works fine. He's 26 pounds and 33 inches.

Re: Toddler Sleepsack sizing question

I bought the 2T toddler sleepsack last winter, and I do believe your DD is just has petite as mine? I was HUGE on her, (she was 2.5 last winter) Best thing ever BTW! Both my girls were walking and HATED HATED the sleep sack that u couldn't put their feet through..

I can def prob re use it again on her this year! I had to buy it online though...went to 3 BRU's last year and none of them had it.

Re: Toddler Sleepsack sizing question

I can't check the sizes since DS is sleeping, but I think I got the XL sleepsacks for him last year. He will very likely still be in his crib this year, at least for part of the winter, so I may use them again--getting a blanket stuffed under his mattress is tough, plus he is a restlass sleeper and his room is also cold. The fleece PJs aren't quite enough.

I got the ones with the foot holes so he could stand up in them without falling over. I think I bought them online from BBB, or it may have been One Step Ahead.
