toe nail problems pp?

did anyone have problems with their toe nails postpartum? sorry if this sounds gross because i know feet are gross to some. I had major foot/ankle swelling during pg - thank god they have shrunk but i noticed my big toe nails have a white line across them and it looks like one of them is breaking in half? DH says it looks like new nail growth. i just have not had time to get to podiatrist and i'm afraid they'll chop off my nail - i want normal feet this summer

YES YES and YES!
I never would have attributed it to pregnancy, but I had such problems after I had DD. I was ready to go for (in-office) surgery on my toenails to relieve the pain.
My doc said it was pregnancy related since I also swelled so much and it DID go away shortly thereafter!

Sounds like new nail growth, i'd def go to the foot doc and have em look at it, they won't do anything to you you dont' wnat them too

I had problems PP, out of nowhere i got bad ingrown toe nails on my 3rd toe on both feet, i always had issues with the way my nails grow, but it was bad. I had a minor surgery on them 2 months ago and SOOo glad i did, i'm finally pain free after months of suffering.

thanks i was hoping i can just continue to clip the nail as it grows? i know i'll need to get myself to foot doctor- great just in time for sandal season!

yup i have it, its growing out, the dermatologist said their nothing to do for it, meanwhile i cant get pedicures
