at Schnider's Children's Hospital. We have to be there at 6am. I guess I'm not getting any sleep tonight.
So I didn't sleep until 3am...oh well. Jared's surgery went well. I walked him into the OR and watched as they put the mask on his face and he fell asleep. I walked back out to the waiting room as I wiped my eyes with his puppy.
Within 30 minutes it was all over. We went to recovery and after he woke up he was his usual self.
The only thing I got piissed at was this family next to us in recovery. Jared was whining about something and I was calming him down. The mother (behind the curtain) shushed Jared because he was a little loud. I was like...excuse me...you're not the only patient in this hospital...you're rude.
Other than that...Schniders hospital was great and Jared's doctor was AMAZING. I'm so glad my little cutie is home and is well.
My son just had this done in October and he had to be there at 6am. I know exactly what you are going through. The anticipation is WAAAYYYY worse than the actual surgery.
