Too late for NT scan
I recently switched doctors and I just realized I never scheduled my NT scan with my new dr and now its too late since i'm sure they can't get me in for one in the next couple days... did anyone NOT do the NT scan?

Lots of people don't do it, specifically because the results wouldn't affect their decision to continue the pregnancy or not. Since you're past the time frame, I would ask the new doc if there's any other test that could give you an indication for DS.

If you really want to get it done, I would ask if you can get an appointment ASAP. I had mine at Madonna Perinatal and I scheduled and got an appointment a few days later.

If you're past 13.5 weeks, they can no longer do it because the neck is no longer transparent.
I don't know about having a regular sonogram at that time though if you missed the opportunity for the NT.

Too late for NT scan
I accidentally missed mine... I had calculated wrong and when I had a ultrasound, they figured out that he was older than I thought, so it was too late to do the scan. He was fine though :)

This just happened to me, the only appt days they had were ones i couldnt do, or were too late. It upsets me only bc id like to have another sono just to ease my mind since ive had a few miscarriages.. i need to talk to my doc and see what she wants to do now. Srry u missed it but it is an optional test, so dont worry about it!

Lots of people don't do it, BUT if you want it I would call the doctor asap to try and get you in the next few days.

I was measuring a week ahead, so by the time I went to my appt. I was too far ahead to do the test.
