Took Yogi to the vet tonight..

for his shots and also because there is a small mass/tumor that we noticed growing on his lip/snout last week. We kept an eye on and it and seemed to get slightly larger so we brought him right into the vet. The vet said that it is a cancerous tumor that is benign (sp?) and to continue to watch it. If it gets larger we have to bring him back but it could go away on its own.

Anyone ever heard of this? The vet said they are fairly common.

Kinda like a hematoma? Porter had this on his ear. The vet said it's benign but to keep a watch on it. If it gets bigger we will remove it. We had to get it removed. He's fine now

Holden has something like that over his eye. Our vet checks it every year and just tells us to keep an eye on it.
