Top of the stairs BABY GATE
We need a baby gate for the top of stairs without a bar on the bottom and with a swinging door.
Does anyone have one that they recommend?
Thanks

Re: Top of the stairs BABY GATE
we had a hard time finding a gate for the top of the stairs and ended up with one of these, expensive, but totally worth it.
Retract-A-Gate
ETA- I know it doesn't swing, but I still recommend it

I'm not sure exactly what you mean about not having a bar on the bottom, but we have this one and we love it:

Re: Top of the stairs BABY GATE
We have a gate at the top of our stairs that swings and has no bar on the bottom. We got the adjustable angle one by Kidco. Bought it at BBB. We needed the adjustable angle but it is also sold without that option if you don't need it (depends on how your walls align, banister, etc).
The gate was a pain to install! We did have to permanently install a wooden post on our wall to use the gate, but again, probably related to our specific case. All this being said, the gate is fantastic! No complaints. Works great. Easy to open/close for an adult but not a child. My DS cannot climb it.

I have this one Angle Mount Gate with this installation kit so we didn't have to drill into the banister installation kit

We have similar to this also. It attaches to the wall and it's great!

We use the munchin too. LOVE IT!!!!
Whoever invented it is a genius. So strudy, so easy to install, mildly attractive.
We have one at the top and the bottom. Got mine at BBB and used 20% coupon.
