Re: Toronto Canada
I've been to Toronto (but not for a long time, I think the last time I went was to see a taping of "The Kids in the Hall" that was like 1992) its a fantastic city with loads to do, and the falls are really good fun!

Re: Toronto Canada
I basically lived in Toronto on and off for over 2 years while I was working at a client's office there. Let me dig up my old emails and I can FM you with a list of great restaurants - there are TONS of great places!
As for somewhere to stay, I mostly stayed down in the financial district, which is really quiet after business hours - a lot like the financial district in Manhattan. The more trendy area to stay in is Yorkville - there's tons of shopping and a lot of hotels. I know the Four Seasons is in that area along with a lot of other hotels. I stayed at the Four Seasons for one of my trips up there and it was fantastic.

Re: Toronto Canada
Don't go to Toronto too early in the spring, it's freezing. DH goes to Toronto once a month for business and takes his North Face except in July and August.
When I have the chance to go with DH, I spend my time at the mall. Besides CN Tower there is the hockey hall of fame, the baseball dome is one of the coolest places I have ever seen... a little knowledge of French helps, too. When DH goes by himself and rents a car he usually calls me in the first 5 mins to tell him what the "weird words" on the expressway mean.
