I am thinking of getting a pair for work. Are they comfy? I never buy $$ shoes, but I need to look nice for work!!

Re: Tory Burch Flats

I don't wear flats but several of my friends said they were horrendously uncomfortable and gave them blisters that actually bled and took weeks to heal.
They had to trash them.
Honestly, for what they charge, you are better off in Payless. At least those are comfy

They are AWEFUL!!!!

I really wanted to like them and tried several different pairs in different stores and had to jump out of them after a few minutes!

Re: Tory Burch Flats

They are so narrow and I couldn't find a size to fit me even going up 2 sizes. My feet aren't wide either.

Look into the Tory Burch Carolines, I have a few of them and they are SO comfy! They have elastic so they dont rub against your heel

Re: Tory Burch Flats

Don't do it! I had blisters on my feet for 3 weeks. I ran to payless to buy shoes during my lunch break at work because I couldn't walk. Luckly I bought them from Norstrom and got a full refund. Never again!

Re: Tory Burch Flats

The MK flats are a better option. Those are very comfortable! And 1/3rd the price.

Hate mine. If you're going to spend that money go for Tieks. Amazing commuting shoes.

Re: Tory Burch Flats

I've had 4 pairs. I think it entirely depends on the shape of your foot. There are other flats, like Michael Kors, which are super uncomfortable for me, yet others love them.

I have the black soft leather Reva with the elastic on the back. They are VERY comfortable, my favorite by far.

I also have the tan patent leather Reva with the elastic on the back, also very comfortable. I wore them nearly my entire pregnancy, so they are super stretched out now, lol. So I cant really wear them anymore.

I also have the snakeskin reva with elastic on the back. These for some reason are not as comfortable, probably because the material is stiffer and not as stretchy. Ive broken them in a bit, but if I wear them too much, they start to bother the bones on top of my toes. But to wear them just once a week, they are fine.

I then bought the tan Reva with NO elastic on the back. Definitely the most uncomfortable out of all, but i have also started to break them in as well and they are getting better.

Agreed for the price tag, all the different types should be more comfortable than they are.

I have never had a problem with any of her shoes but I do have friends who can't wear them. I guess it must depend on foot shape. Over the years I have had a few pairs of her heels and at least a dozen different flats. They were/are all comfy for me and have actually held up well quality wise.

Honestly they hurt! I love them I wear them to work often but after 2-3 years they still hurt a lot when I wear them. I just started (don't know why) having it rub on the back of my foot where I actually put on band aids when I wear them.
I have the popular patent leather ones that have the elastic and do that folding thing. That folding thing is what kills them. They NEVER lose that folding thing and only do when you put your weight down on your foot like walking or standing. BUT when your sitting it feels like its fighting your foot to bend so it really hurts my toes. Like it crushes them and I cant wait until the end of the day to take them off.

With that said I still wear them to work and I still love them because they make outfits looks so polished. But spending $$ on them I don't know if Id do it again or maybe look for another style or another high end brand to keep that polished look. Because in my opinion they do look better than the average plain flat.

I love love mine. Those are really the only flats i wear. I think it does depend on shape of your foot as above poster mentioned. However when you first put them on they are NOT comfy. Takes about 4-5 wears.

Try Lucky Brand Flats, Torys are uncomfortable and I have a fairly narrow foot.

I agree! I was hesitant to spend the $$ on Tieks, but SOOOO happy I did. Most comfy flats ever! Already eyeing a second pair but have to slow down. lol.

ITA. I've heard from a lot of people that Tory Burch flats are terrible. I have 3 pairs of Michael Kors flats and love them!

Re: Tory Burch Flats

It took me a while to break them in, but they became pretty comfortable. One of my most comfortable pairs of flats is from Payless. That pair is much more comfortable than the Tory pair.

Um I wore them around the city once and had to take them off and walk home 20 blocks barefoot because I could no longer bare the pain. True story. They would make for a great punishment for violent offenders.

The sad thing is I always try them on and they always look awful on my feet and I can't spend that money for them to look bad!
