Tory Burtch boots stink!**update with their response ###new update

My DH bought me Tory Burtch boots last Christmas--the bottoms are wrecked--they are flat boots so IMO they should not be so messed up the way a heel might.

I brought the boots to my local shoe maker and he was appalled, he said that he hates Tory Burtch and they use paper for their soles.

These boots were so $$$ and the quality sucks--just goes to show that name brands arent always great quality, if anyone is thinking of getting Tory boots, skip them!

I just sent them a scathing email with a picture, which I have never done in my life.

I would speak to a manager of the store where they were purchased. If they don't do anything, call TB customer service. That's ridic

where did you get them? I had Tory burch flats get destroyed in about 3 months and nordstrom replaced them, no questions asked.
granted this shouldnt happen...

Darn I was just eyeing a pair of TB boots. I should have known better...I absolutely hate the flats. :(

This does not surprise me in the least. Every person I know IRL who has TB shoes says that they fall apart really fast and that they are not really all that comfortable either. I don't understand how or why they are popular at all.

I'm so happy I decided against them for Christmas; I was originally asking for them. I've heard so many negative things about the fit and quality.

When you say send me a label for heel repair what does that mean? I have already brough the shoes to my local cobbler and he is charging me $50 to fix the heels, I would be happy to send you this bill if that is what you mean. I do feel I should be reimbursed in some way, less than a year ago my husband spent $500 dollars on boots that are now unsightly and unwearable--I am paying $50 to fix them so all in all $550 dollars for these boots. The leather also looks worn.



Any reimbursemenet would be appreciated.

And this is just another example of how price does not always equate to quality.
I have Payless boots that have held up for years.

I think that's a great letter, and I would definitely demand more money back. That would really piss me off that they are less than a year old.

I have many Tory flats, sandals and two pairs of boots- some of my flats are over two yrs old and the boots are a year old and I wear them constantly. Have to say I have never exer had an issue with quality - I always find it to be there. Also their customer service is top notch. One time and the only time I ever had an issue was with a pair of jelly flats that were over a year ild and the symbol fell off. Having many flats I knew these had to be defective. I brought them to Tory, they sent them to be fixed and when they couldn't fix them they gave me a full credit for the original price of the shoes. If they were a current style they would have given me a new pair.

That said, I was told that this is only with respect to Tory products you buy in Tory. If u but from nordstroms or bloomies it's their problem. So I always buy my Tory stuff only from Tory.

Sorry to hear this- it's the only time I've ever heard this and me and my friends are big tory fans! Lol!

People in the industry don't like TB either, they know its all crap.

I had a pair of Reva flats and had to get them resoled multiple times. Ending up selling them for $30 on ebay. Good riddens

One of our good friends is pretty high up at TB and even he says their leather goods are crap. LOL! It's all made in China. I have some Reva flats from back in 2006 when the quality was decent but otherwise their stuff is pretty midrange and I would not consider it high quality at all.

I've never understood the appeal of TB. Many times I tried on shoes and just could justify the price for something that only felt ok.

Love me my coach shoes though. Still have pairs going strong after near constant wear in the season where appropriate.

Hopefully they send you reimbursement. I had to have a zipper repaired on a defective item from Jcrew and they gave me a credit after I sent them a scan of my tailor receipt.

I re emailed them and they gave me a $50 gift card to be used at their store and 15% off which was very nice! This does not change my opinion on the quality but I think that that was good customer service, maybe I will get $50 flip flops lol
