Do you say "I love you" when you hang up the phone or say goodbye?
I say it after phone calls with DH and with my mom, dad, sister and even my friends. DH thinks I am weird for saying it so much.. I guess its how I was raised (in my mom and dad's house we say I love you ALLL the time). Anyone else?

i definitley say i love you! cause i learned the hard way you never know if its the last time you will speak to that person.

I do with my mom, dad, and sisters. I even used to do a kiss kiss noise. DH thought it was weird and thinks its dorky - I do it anyway.

Casual friends and other people I end with talk to you soon.

It depends. I've definitely said both depending..If I'm at work I don't say I love you as a general rule.

At work when I finish a phone call I always have this recurring day-mare that I say to people "I love you" instead of goodbye. Thank goodness its never happened, but if it did, I would laugh and laugh..its a bit like calling your teacher Mom!

I do too, I am also very affectionate so saying "I love you" is expected from me. I tell DH whenever I hang up with him or leave in the morning. I made it a habit now because you never know if your going to see or talk to that person again. I always tell my parents and sister the same thing and have been this way ever since 9/11.

always I love you even if its a split second conversation. We never miss an I love you!
eta- this is only with my Dh, in my family we rarely said I love you to each other which I think s$ucked and the few times that we did felt so awkward because we were so used to not saying it, so now that I have my own family Im going to be enforcing the I love you's.

I do. I think its funny though when he is surrounded by other people, it gets reduced to "me too." Typical guy wants to save face. I dont get bent out of shape about it. We dont go to sleep without saying it and itis always nice to hear.
