I think it's hard to judge a person from a first impression. I think they change - sometimes for better, sometimes for worse.

I agree.
I also think that the people I know have changed, but the core remains the same. They may become more loving and giving or more selfish and self absorbed.

I'd have to say that most times I'm right with my first impressions...so, usually my opinions on people don't change. But, there have been a few occasions where they did.
