Town of Oyster Bay Residents
So I'm a new resident to Syosset and just got my parking permit for the LIRR parking lot.
Yesterday I get a ticket for ignoring parking signs (which I didn't see) stating I had to park my car front first in the lot.
Has anyone heard of such a thing? I have yet to see signs regarding this, and as a new resident...how would I know?
Please give me your feedback.

It's very common for them to give tickets for that type of thing - they are sticklers... I grew up there.
I think my best friend got a few tickets for parking on the yellow line (so be careful about that too)...

I live in Syosset as well and I got that ticketl my first week commuting. It stinks I know but it's one of those mistakes that you will only make once.

When i went to the town to get my parking permit, they told me then. Silly rule, i know, but what can you do?!
