Trader Joes in Massapequa?
My mom heard a rumor that it will go in where the old Nautilus Diner was. Anyone else hear this rumor?

 It's 15-20 minutes away. Not exactly easy to get to IMO. Plus, I'm coming from Lindenhurst so it's even longer. I'd go when visiting my parents in Massapequa so if it's true, I think it is awesome.

I think it's just a rumor sice it's not on their list of store openings. They wanted to go in wantagh but traffic concerns kept them out.

My Grandma lived near there and we would always take here there. She loved it so much.
When I was little I thought it was so fancy inside The food wac actually really good and they were always so nice.

OMG this would make my year!!!
And yeah, as someone who lives one town west from Lindenhurst, I agree that the Merrick one is NOT "right down the road".
It takes me about 40 minutes to get there with all the lights and traffic on Merrick rd. which is pretty much why I gave up and stopped going.

def not down the road. My parents live in Massapequa and it is a drive to get the the merrick one. traffic has gotten outta hand on Merrick rd!

In lake grove (by the smith haven mall) they are across the street from each other...distance between each other doesn't stop them

UGH. I live in Bellmore and I still rarely go there. I only stop if I do Homegoods and TJ's in one shot!
