Traffic Question: From CT to Queens
I need some advice because I am not good with traffic on a Tuesday...
So I am going to the US Open today. I can't get out of work until 3-3:30. I am coming from the middle of CT. Normally I take 84W to 684S. I would get to the Westchester area at around 5pm.
If I need to get to Flushing around 7 what is my best bet? Should I take the train? It just kills me that I know the train will take me over 2 hours and I still have to drive an hour to the train station in New Haven. Normally the drive would take under 2 hours.

Re: Traffic Question: From CT to Queens
One of my friends commutes from Mt Cisco to Queens. On average it takes her an hour to get home via the Whitestone Bridge when she leaves work at 6pm. I hope that helps a little. Have fun tonight!

Re: Traffic Question: From CT to Queens
If you get to Westchester around 5, you might be sitting in traffic for 1-1 1/2 hr going into Queens. But you won't have to deal with that on your way home. I would drive.
