train that goes under xmas tree??
has anyone seen a train that goes underneath the christmas tree?? looking for one to put around our tree but haven't seen any!

yes toys r us has one we go ti last year, its called the santa express I think, we also have the disney one that we bought when we were there..

We got one from TRU a few years back (well my Dad did many years back HAHA)...and it goes IN the tree... it's great b/c now DS can sit on the floor or be held and stare at the train go around but not touch it to be broken. My Mom still has the set from when we used as kids... you make your own track and all...real old school... I want that soo bad. She wont part with it yet...it just sits there year after year...

I think "Santa" will set up DS's wooden tracks around the tree and then put his new trains on it.

UPS just delivered ours 2 hours ago. we set it up and DS and DD LOVE it! it's pretty cute and fits perfectly under the tree.

LOL Funny I just bought one at Big Lots for $49. It goes on sale for $29 12/3 if you are a Buzz rewards card member. It is Lionel and looks pretty good in the box.
I also saw Thomas Battery-Powered Around-The-Tree Set
by Learning Curve
on Amazon for $75

thanks! going to check them all out. DD loves trains so i think it will be fun to have it under the tree. i used to put the presents out once wrapped as decorations but since DD understands Santa that can no longer happen.

They had one at home depot and one that went thru the tree....I was really curious to see if that really worked because DS would love it!
