Trampolines - Town of Hempstead
Does anyone know if there is any town ordinance regarding trampolines in the backyard?
Do they have to be a certain distance from a side fence or side property line...between you and your neighbor on either side of you?
Thank you

Not sure but I've read that they are a big reason to be dropped from a HO policy.
I wouldn't risk it especially on the island where so few are insuring after Sandy.
JMO, of course.

We don't want to get one.
Our neighbors have one that is right up against the fence and right outside our bedroom window. Most nights, the children are on the trampoline until 10PM.

Hopefully it's a phase that will pass with them quickly.
Can you say something to the parents?

They have big parties in their small back yard a few nights a week...

Sounds like that's the bogre issue then.
Again, can you talk to them and say that you don't mind weekends, but during the week is a lot, especially if you have to get up early for work.
Positive is winter is coming!
Negative is I think most places allow noise until a certain hour.
