Has anyone had a tree removed by the Town of Hempstead?

Has anyone had a tree removed by the Town of Hempstead?
Do they grind the stump down as well?
We're waiting for them to inspect a tree on our curb strip, but we were trying to figure out if we're going to have to hire someone else to grind the stump if they do take the tree down.

I am pretty sure they do grind the stump, but at a later time from removal. I will ask my mom. They removed a tree for her about 2 yrs ago.

The Town of Brookhaven removed and ground the stump fo us. If they don't most tree companies wil come and do it for you - It's like 50 bucks or something like that.
