Transfer update
So, I had my transfer yesterday and we put back 4 embryos!!
I got the call on saturday that 6 of the 7 mature eggs they ICSI'd fertilized!!!! Dr. K. actually called me to discuss our options. He said that I would still be having my transfer on Sunday so it would be a 2-day transfer b/c my embryos were only 2 days old. Originally, I had opted to transfer 2 embryos but, he said in circumstances like mine, he suggests we do a 2 for 1 transfer so, instead of 2, transfer 4! We discussed the possibility of multiples because that is my biggest worry. I'm fine with twins but concerned about triplets. He said that by doing this, the risk of triplets is only 5% so, we went for it.
So, I had my transfer yesterday. They transferred 2 - 4 cells. One was a grade 1 and the other 1/2 (on a scale of 1-5 with one being the best). The other 2 were 5 cells with one a grade 1 and the other a grade 1/2. So, we have some pretty good embryos!!!
The other two he said they would watch for a while and see if they were freezable.
I'm so nervous now and searching the net for any information I can find on success rates in circumstances like mine. I need to stop and try to relax. Despite the good embryos, I just don't have a good feeling with all that happened.

First off, congrats on the transfer and making it over that hurdle. I don't know your age but I am quite sure that can be a factor in determining how many embryos to tranfer. Embryo quality is another factor. I am sure Dr. K thought of these things before suggesting that you transfer 4. Did you use assisted hatching? That is supposed to improve your chances also. I was looking all day yesterday to see if you posted (though i was happy to rested and didn't get online right away). So happy you got as many as you did. Way to go!!! And you may even have some to freeze!
Wishing you lots and lots of sticky dust...
Didn't someone just go through this and get a BFP, like a month ago!!! I wish I could remember who that was????
