We are big casino people so we stay at the casino most of the time. Although we have never stayed at this hotel, we did go to mystic for dh's 30th actually.
We found it cute but nothing too great. The aquarium was SO SMALL..the shops were cute but easily do-able in a few hours if that. We drove around the town and village but found ourselves to be very bored.
Our main thing was foxwoods. When we werent actually there, it was boring. So if your going more to sight see and stuff, I think you will be disappointed. Not sure though, I know a lot of people who really like it.
