Re: Travel Systems- What are the Pros and Cons?

I have the Graco Travel System as well as a Snap & Go.

I love having the travel system. The seat just snaps right in to the stroller. The cons are that it's a little bulky and harder to get in and out of the car. I got the snap and go for the car because it's easier to maneuver in the stores. I use the stroller at home for the time being until she's too big for the infant seat.

So wait, this may sound dumb, but does the carseat go on top of the stroller, or do you have to take the straoller seat off first?

And what the heck is a snap and go? A frame that the carseat snaps onto?

Sorry, I have no idea....Chat Icon

Re: Travel Systems- What are the Pros and Cons?

I registered for the Britax. The car seat has this extra safety feature so that it cannot collide with the seat (rear-facing). I asked the guy at BRU to show me how to use it, then to let me try it to make sure I could do it. It was not that hard & the latches were easy to get to. They even had a "car" in the store so I could practice with the base & all.

The car seat goes where that sun shade thing is, but so the baby is facing you pushing.

A snap and go is exactly what you think it is.

I did register for the travel system. I know that people say they are bulky, but I have an entry way in my house where I can leave the stroller. My SIL swears by hers. She had a Graco.

I have the Peg Perego Pliko 3 and the Prima Viaggo infant carrier snaps into it. The stroller is only 18lbs so it is light and folds up nicely. The only thing about the stroller that I do not like is that the basket on the bottom is soo small. I wasnt to impressed with the Graco Tour travel system and they seemed so heavy and bulky.
