Traveling to Fla. and renting baby items questions
Has anyone gone to South Fla. (around Ft. Lauderdale) and rented baby items, such a crib, stroller, high chair, jumperoo etc.? We are probably going to Fla. in June and my granddaughter will be 7 mos. old then. We will need some things for her (to sleep in, etc) so I was looking into renting. If you rented baby items, what company did you use? Were the items clean, etc? We'll be staying with my mom in her condo and she doesn't have anything.

Re: Traveling to Fla. and renting baby items questions
We just got back from staying with my inlaws. I bought a small pack n play and had it shipped to them and it will stay there bc we go every year. I also have a travel highchair, kinda like a sassy seat, that fold down flat so i just put that in my luggage. Its made by "me too products" We traveled with the carseat and also her stroller on the plane. I also packed some small toys in her bags. I didnt think a jumperoo or big stuff like that would be necessary but they do make the jumpy things you can put in the door way, thats small enough where u can prob pack that also.

Baby's Away has a south Florida location. I have not used them at that location, but worth looking into, I think.

I looked into it when we travelled, but it was about the same price to just go to walmart and buy the items new (like lower end pack & play for $45, umbrella stroller starting at $15, lightweight streoller starting at $35, etc). Just another option!

Re: Traveling to Fla. and renting baby items questions
I rented a full-sized crib from Florida baby gear. They delivered, set it up and took it down. We had no issues, it was a good experience and definitely contributed to my DS sleeping 12 hours with no wake-ups our entire vacation.
That being said, we were in central florida and I don't know how close that is to Ft. Lauderdale.
