Traveling with a recently potty trained 2 year old?

Any words of advice?

We are going to Disney---I am most concerned about the flight and bus ride to the hotel. He uses both the little potty and potty seat on the toilet. I have a travel potty that is both a regular little potty and turns into one that fits on a seat. I am thinking about putting him in pullups during travel, but he is not used to wearing them and I don't want to regress.

You can also get extra-padded undies, and there are waterproof pants that can go over regular undies.

But I'd put a pull-up on over the undies.

I'd use pull ups on the plane. We drove to Lake George after DS was potty training for a week. I let him wear pull-up for part of the car ride, but we also used them at bedtime. I explained that long car rides he could where his "bedtime underwear" and it was ok if he had to wet them, that sometimes in the car you can't get to a potty right away, but if he could hold it and tell us he had to go we'd get him to a potty asap. I didn't want him to feel like he was having an accident if he went in them. He did beautifully, he wet the pull-up once in the car and had one accident the whole trip.

ITA with PPers with pull up over the underwear - we have been doing this when the last two days when we started venturing out finally not in walking distance to the house...this way she has extra protection but still the same feeling of being wet! It seems to be working bec the first day she was wet and wanted out ASAP and has been dry since then! (knock on wood!)

WE did disney right after dd potty trained at 2 and we used pull ups right before she got onto the plane. As far as in the parks itself there are bathrooms everywhere and people on lines are so understanding when you jump off line to bring a little one to the bathroom!
