Traveling with Medicine (Please do not move to Travel)
Dh and I are leaving on our trip in a few hours, and I came down with a little cold Saturday. Does anyone know if I can carry on liquid DayQuil and nasal spray? Or should I just put it in my suitcase. I don't want to have to dump it at the airport.
Thank you!

You can bring it on the plane if it's in a 3 oz container and placed in a quart size ziploc.
From the TSA.gov site:
3-1-1 for carry-ons = 3 ounce bottle or less (by volume) ; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3 oz. container size is a security measure.

That's what I'm going to do just to play it safe. The bottle I have is 6oz so I don't want it taken away. I just heard the pressure from the plane doesn't mix when you are congested

Take some right before you check your bags and then put it in your checked luggage. If you want to bring it on the plane, buy a small bottle of meds. or pill form if you can find them. Otherwise, you can buy a small (3 oz or less) bottle, pour some med. in there, pop it in a ziplock and cross your fingers! Hope you feel better!

So why don't you take it before you leave
