Tree removal company RAVE!
In the last storm, a large branch from our 60 foot pine fell on DH's car. We decided to take down the entire tree, because it was very close to the house and our driveway.
I used All Island Tree and Fence, and they were amazing. Two guys came yesterday, took down the tree, and also removed my pear tree (a PITA in the summer w/ bees!) for free! They were gone in an hour, and cleaned up everything. I'm in mid-Suffolk, but I think they do the entire area.
It's rare to have anyone throw in something for free, so I thought I would share the rave w/ anyone on here!

We need to get rid of a few trees too (we have a pear tree AND an apple tree, so we end up with rotting fruit and bees all over our yard  ) Do you know if they give free estimates?

They do! Call Rich (his number is in an above post). He cut down my pear tree because I had the same problem. Bees and birds eating the rotting fruit alllll summer long.
Fruit trees seem so nice in theory....

I know, I put up with it for 3 summers because I really liked the idea of having fruit trees. And they look pretty, but the mess is just not worth it. Last summer I got stung by a bee trying to clean up the rotting pears, and it got to the point that we couldn't even go out on our patio because there were rotting apples and bees everywhere. I'm definitely ready to say goodbye to those trees!
