tricycle or bicycle for 3-year-old?
I'm considering the classic red Radio Flyer tricycle or the smallest bicycle with training wheels for my DD's 3rd birthday for riding outside this summer. She has a Dora Big Wheels & isn't great at pedaling it, but I think that's because it's inside the house on the carpet. She's about 36 inches tall.
What do you recommend??
Wal-Mart seems to have a great selection on-line of kids bikes, if anyone's looking. Great prices & ship-to-store.

I am getting Kaitee a bicycle(with training wheels) for her 3rd birthday.

bicycle. My DD got the radio flyer tricycle for her 2nd birthday and the bicycle for her third. She does sometimes still use the tricycle but prefers the bicycle.
