2 Year Old- Should I buy a Push Car or Tricycle with Handle?
We take DS thru the neighborhood and I think he would like this better than the stroller. What types do you recommend? Thanks

Step 2 little buggy....the red or blue one. DD has been using it since like 8 months. It's the best toy!

I think the tricycle with the handle but once they can pedal themselves, you can take the handle out (on most of them I think) and it can be a regular trike.

I wouldn't get this now - he's too big for it.
I would go for either a wagon or a tricycle. Jack LOVES his wagons now. He still goes in his buggy occassionally, but mostly pushes it now! He is getting much to big for it!
Someone got him for his first birthday the Rock and Roll Ride Trike. We are putting it together this weekend - I'll let you know how it is!

I agree with Diana. The pushcar would be too small, too fast, I think.
DS is getting a trike with a handle for his birthday on Sunday. We are excited for it

Yup I agree...too old for push buggy.
I requested a tricycle for G's bday...a radio flyer :)
She already knows how to push on pedals so shes almost there on riding a tricycle.
I also have the tricycle with handle but she started pushing off and going..I couldnt hold on anymore.

I would get a Radio Flyer tricycle with a handle. He doesn't have to know how to pedal since most of them free wheel. Just make sure you put the wheel on the correct way if you get a Radio Flyer one, otherwise the free wheel won't work.

Re: 2 Year Old- Should I buy a Push Car or Tricycle with Handle?
we have the red little tykes push car and ds loves it and still fits well but i don't think i'd get it at this point. we also got the radio flyer tricycle and dh tried it out and it was...welll difficult. it'll take a little while for my ds to use it b/c although you push them they are the ones that are steering. he also doesn't quite reach the peddles yet. so i say go for a wagon or if your dc is well coordinated try the tricycle.

I agree. That is the best toy ever and we have gotten many rides around the block from it. DS#2 has been on it since he was 8 months old and loves it just the same. It's easy to push and the kids love the stearing wheel.
I just wanted to add that DS#1 is 3 years old and still fits it in and still loves an occational ride.
