trigger shot

Good morning!
For those of you who have had a trigger shot in order to O---Did you have bad cramps after you received the shot?

I had the trigger shot on Wednesday and had my IUI done on Thursday. I had pain in my pelvic area all day Thursday and Friday--only when I was moving around. If I stayed on the couch (which I did for most of the time) I felt ok.

I understand my body is being forced to O, but should I be that uncomfortable??

It's been a couple of years since I had them but I don't remember any pain! I should be having one this week so I will let you know!

Were you on injectables? If so, that may explain it..there are more follicles releasing eggs so it's a bit uncomfortable sometimes.
I used to have cramping after the trigger, nothing debilitating - but some cramping.

Thank you for your response. I'm on clomid and I had 4 follicles. Maybe that's why?

I got some pain on my left side after trigger shot, but I think that is cos I have partially blocked left tube, it was like Gerty said, cramping but not debilitating. Good luck

I got very bloated as if I was getting AF

I would ask the Dr. just to be sure one of the follies wasnt a cyst, b/c I never had that pain. But I have learned how differently everyone reacts to all the different meds.
