I think it depends on your OB and the airlines. Mine told me 34 weeks.

Re: Trimesters...when can you not go on a plane?
I am 28 weeks today and flying tomorrow. I know most airlines say 34-36 weeks. My doctor gave me a note in case someone at the airport asks.

Ask your OB-every OB has a different guideline. Mine said 28 weeks. I heard really it is 36 weeks.

Re: Trimesters...when can you not go on a plane?
I am flying at 34 weeks cross country and flying home at 35 weeks. My midwife says they like to ground people at 37 weeks. Most airlines do not have any guidelines on flying.

Any travel after 36 weeks you need a note from your OB to fly - pretty much all airlines have this restriction (iit's on their websites).
Some doctors don't recommend you travel after 28 weeks.

I checked all the websites recently and only a few required a note. I don't know if this is a recent change or not, so I would definitely check with what ever airline you choose to fly with. Obviously they like to change their policies.

Re: Trimesters...when can you not go on a plane?
I traveled frequently during my first and second trimesters when PG with DS. My DR just said it was important to get up and walk around every 1.5 hours or so to prevent blood clots.
