I think it differs from OB to OB...Mine told me that 34 weeks was the cutoff but to do what I felt comfortable...I scheduled my last flight for 30 weeks.

check with your airline - some will not take you after the second trimester without a doctor's note (which is about 27 weeks) some will let you go until about 32-34 weeks.

It's safe to fly at all other times.

i don't think there are any set "rules" on when to fly, but i would ask your doctor how late is too late to fly in his opinion.

i personally wouldn't fly after about 30-32 weeks or so.

ETA: i would just make sure that if you're taking a long flight, that you get up and move around every hour or so, since when you're pregnant you're more prone to blood clots.

I called my doc about this yesterday. They gave me a cutoff of 32 weeks. We have a tript oFlorida scheduled for my cousin's wedding and I will be between 28-29 weeks at the time.

My OB said the safest and most enjoyable for you, is during the second trimester.

my doctor said its ok to fly upto my 2nd tri.
no flying in 3rd

my dr told me no for first tri i already had the trip booked so i went, i ended up getting a placenta clot and bled for 2 weeks the baby is fine, but i would never do that again

my cousin was a week preggo on the trip with me n she was fine

i know at 30 or 32 weeks they cut you off.


2nd tri is the best time to go

My doctor said that I could fly up until about a month before my due date. I am flying at 30 weeks.

as far as I know no flying at first trimester and 3rd.

My OB said 32 weeks so I am taking my last flight at 31 weeks
